1. In what cases should insoles be used?

Scholl GelActiv™ gel insoles are designed to provide incredible comfort and prevent foot fatigue all day long. The insoles are suitable for both regular shoes and sports shoes or shoes with flat soles. Use the universal model - Scholl GelActiv™ Everyday insoles for comfort for every day for walking, sports training, and will especially be appreciated by those who spend a lot of time behind the wheel!

2. Why does Scholl offer insoles?

Walking, working or other prolonged stress on the legs causes fatigue. Scholl insoles provide additional foot comfort and cushioning while walking. GelActiv technology absorbs micro-impact and helps reduce pressure on your feet while walking. Three insoles options are designed specifically for different needs - daily activity, for sports and for active work.

3. Why do we need different types of gel in Scholl GelActiv™ Everyday insoles for everyday comfort?

Double gel effectively absorbs micro-shocks and helps reduce unnecessary pressure on the legs during walks and daily activities. Stiffer gel areas provide arch and heel support, while softer gel is designed specifically for shock absorption and shock absorption. In addition, thanks to the anatomical shape, the GelActiv™ insoles are practically invisible in shoes.

4. Are these insoles suitable for children?

There is no age limit for using insoles. However, the insoles were originally designed for adults - for the shoe sizes indicated on the packaging. Make sure to use the correct size to ensure that the gel areas target different parts of the foot correctly.

5. Is it possible to cut insoles to a smaller size, for example, women's insoles to size 35?

Please see the question “Can I ruin the insole when cutting it to size?”

6. What material is the gel made of?

Gel inserts are made from a thermoplastic elastomer that is used in a variety of products, including insoles.

7. Is there a difference between Scholl gel insoles and orthotics?

Orthopedic insoles are usually used for various pathologies of the leg, flat feet, etc. They help control and change the position of the leg, and also provide additional comfort and reduction of pain symptoms. Most often, orthopedic insoles are purchased on the recommendation of a doctor to correct a specific problem. Scholl GelActiv insoles provide long-lasting, all-day comfort, but they cannot replace orthotics if your doctor has prescribed them.

8. Do Scholl GelActiv™ insoles help with sweaty feet?

The Scholl GelActiv™ insoles on the side of the foot are covered with cotton fiber, which reduces perspiration. However, keep in mind that the ventilation process may be limited by the type of shoes you wear.

9. Do Scholl insoles cause foot odor?

The use of Scholl insoles does not affect the appearance of foot odor.

10. Who can use insoles and what shoe sizes are they suitable for?

Scholl GelActiv™ insoles are available in two versions - for men and for women, the only difference between them is in shoe sizes. Insoles for women are suitable for shoe sizes 37-41, and insoles for men are suitable for shoe sizes 42-47. In order to get your size, the insole can be cut along a special contour drawn directly on the surface of the insole.

11. Can I ruin the insole when cutting it to size?

When cutting the insole to size, use sharp scissors to ensure the cut edge remains straight. To begin with, try cutting the insole with a small margin from the contour of your size, so that you still have the opportunity to trim the edges.

12. How can the same insoles fit different shoe sizes?

Scholl GelActiv™ insoles can be cut to fit different shoe sizes using a custom contour printed on each insole. Instructions can be found on the product packaging, or you can also watch our video instructions.

13. How to properly place insoles in shoes?

For best results, remove your existing insoles and replace them with Scholl GelActiv™ insoles. The GEL side should be facing DOWN.

14. What is the difference between insoles for men and women?

The only difference between the insoles is the size, so if a man needs a smaller size, he can use a women's insole.

15. What type of shoes are insoles suitable for? Can I use the same pair of insoles for different shoes?

Scholl GelActiv™ Everyday insoles for everyday comfort are universal and designed for regular everyday footwear: sneakers, sandals, shoes, boots. At the same time, the same pair of insoles can be used for different types of shoes.

16. Are Scholl GelActiv™ insoles suitable for summer and winter footwear?

Scholl GelActiv™ insoles are suitable for both summer and winter footwear.

17. Can Scholl GelActiv™ insoles be worn in shoes without socks?

You can wear insoles without socks, but we recommend wearing socks or tights to avoid excessive sweating of your feet.

18. Can I wear both Scholl insoles and orthotics?

19. Can Scholl insoles stain shoes when there is high humidity or sweaty feet?

Scholl GelActiv™ insoles are designed to the highest standards and will not fade with wear and should not leave any marks on your shoes.

20. How to properly dry insoles if they become damp?

If Scholl GelActiv™ insoles become damp or wet, we recommend removing them from your shoes and drying them in an open area. If the insoles become damaged due to interaction with water/moisture, we do not recommend continuing to use them.

21. Can the insoles be washed?

The insoles cannot be washed in a washing machine. To clean the insoles, simply wipe them with a cloth dampened in warm soapy water and dry them before placing them in your shoes. Do not soak insoles.

22. What is the service life of insoles?

Replace insoles at the first sign of wear. It is recommended to change insoles every 6 months.

23. Where can I buy Scholl GelActiv™ insoles?

Scholl GelActiv™ insoles are sold in pharmacies, brick-and-mortar stores, and online.

Scholl gel insoles appeared on the market relatively recently and have already gained popularity among millions of people around the world. Their price ranges from 600 to 1 thousand rubles, but do the products really help tired legs?

Scholl insoles: who invented them, what they are for and how they work

Scholl insoles have recently appeared on the market, but consumers have already appreciated the advantages of these products

To understand whether Scholl can be trusted, let's look at its history.

Scholl is the name of an American who devoted his life to studying the anatomy and physiology of human legs.

The first insole was patented by Dr. William Mathias Scholl in 1904, and it was called the Foot-Eazer. The Scholl brand appeared a few years later, when the doctor founded a company producing foot products. Now the Scholl company sells not only shoe inserts, but also deodorants, files, creams, protective pads for feet, and compression stockings. All foot care products are based on scientific research.

Why are these insoles needed?

Scholl insoles are designed to relieve you from the discomfort caused by uncomfortable shoes or tired feet. They do not eliminate diseases of the musculoskeletal system, but help prevent their development. The Scholl company produces products for all occasions: for everyday use, for sports, walking in heels, standing work.

How the products are designed

The two types of gel that make up the insole differ in their degree of hardness. The more rigid parts of the product are painted yellow; they serve to support the foot in the correct position. The blue elements of the insole are softer, they soften the impact of the feet on the ground when walking.

It is important that the zones of different hardness correspond to the contours of the foot. When choosing products, pay attention to the fact that they are available for men and women. You should not cut men's inserts to fit women's legs or use adult models for children.

Types of shoe inserts

  • For moving around the city for short distances and relaxed walks, GelActiv Everyday is suitable. This model is not intended for casual shoes or sneakers. Wear them with comfortable casual shoes. There are men's and women's insoles.

The insoles are made of high-quality elastomer with gley filling of varying densities

  • If you run, do outdoor activities or walk around the city a lot, choose GelActiv Sport. For maximum comfort, pair them with sneakers. There are two types of products on sale - men's and women's.

The packaging and insole should have the word “SPORT” on the heel area.

  • There is a type of product for those who have to stand on their feet all day - GelActiv Work. If your job involves constant movement, you should take a closer look at the sports model. They are also divided into male and female.

The insoles are ideal for workers who are constantly on their feet.

  • Four types of products have been developed specifically for women's shoes: for shoes with flat soles (GelActiv Flat), with medium heels (GelActiv Everyday Heels), with high heels (GelActiv Extreme Heels), as well as for open shoes and sandals (GelActiv Open Shoes).

Insoles for high-heeled shoes have elastic pads

The insoles are securely fixed in the shoes and do not get knocked down during intensive use and provide comfort when walking.

Advantages and disadvantages of Scholl gel insoles

Reviews from numerous customers show that Scholl gel insoles can indeed provide walking comfort, but they also have their drawbacks. What should you be prepared for when purchasing this shoe product?

Among the advantages are the following:

  • inserts make any shoe more comfortable and safe. The foot does not slip and is supported in its natural position, steps are absorbed;
  • The material of the products is durable, they do not wear out for years. However, the manufacturer still recommends updating the product every six months;
  • there are models for all occasions and for all types of shoes;
  • the insoles look aesthetically pleasing. Don't be put off by the bright yellow and blue coloring of these insoles! Their upper part, facing you when you wear them, is made of plain fabric. Those products that are intended for dress and open women's shoes are made of transparent material and are not noticeable.

There are fewer disadvantages, but they still exist:

  • insoles can reduce shoe size;
  • if you have already glued inserts into one pair of shoes, it will be impossible to peel them off and transfer them to another pair of shoes;
  • These products are designed for healthy people; they will not save you from back or leg pain. The manufacturer repeatedly reminds us of this.

Do not confuse Scholl gel insoles with orthopedic insoles! If you have diseases of the musculoskeletal system, you need special inserts in shoes that adapt to the individual shape of your feet.

A morning jog, long shopping trips, a long walk, a working day spent on your feet... By the evening they are tired, swollen and seem to be burning. Finding the perfect shoes is no easy task. The structural features and sensitivity to rubbing are individual for everyone. Orthopedic shoes are not a solution; you want something beautiful and elegant, but custom tailoring is too expensive. Scholl gel insoles, a joint innovative development of scientists and physicians, can increase comfort and ease the load on muscles and joints.

Insoles have two tasks - to soften the shock load and maintain the foot in a physiologically correct position. They are solved by two layers of gel. Blue is soft, it absorbs the shock that the foot receives when walking, running, etc. The second layer is yellow, denser, and acts as an instep support to help keep the insole in the correct position. The support is located under the heel and toe, and the front or outer part is made of fabric.

Types and parameters

The developers took into account the structural features of the male and female legs. Today you can buy several different models:

  • for women and men for every day;
  • for active sports;
  • for those who work on their feet.

Comfortable, practical insoles can be used for summer, winter, off-season, sports shoes and work boots. They are not suitable for high-heeled shoes (Scholl produces special gel pads for such shoes).

The main material is thermoplastic gel. Its task is to create maximum comfort and relieve long-term stress on the lower limbs. In no case can Shol gel insoles replace orthopedic ones, which were prescribed by a doctor to correct any foot defects or for medicinal purposes.

When creating Sholl insoles, the possibility of long-term use throughout the day was also taken into account. Their variety, designed for active work, is equipped with special ventilation holes to prevent your feet from sweating. Even if you wear the shoes all day, your feet remain dry and there is no unpleasant odor. The insoles are made of high-quality material, so they will not fade or stain shoes and socks, even if your feet get wet.

Unfortunately, the insoles are not suitable for children's shoes (except for teenagers, when size is at least 36).

How to choose and use

Women's are suitable for sizes from 38 to 42, men's - from 42 to 48. The insoles are equipped with contour lines along which they can be trimmed to the desired size. If a man has a smaller size, he can use women's insoles.

To be on the safe side, you can cut them using any regular insoles from your shoes. 42 women's and 48 men's sizes are not cut off. The insoles fit well and do not wrinkle or slip when worn. They are placed in shoes with the gel side down. Despite the fact that insoles are universal, it is better to buy them separately for different types of shoes, especially if you change them often.

Gel insoles are easy to care for. From time to time they need to be washed with a soft sponge and soap. Then they are rinsed with clean water and dried away from heating devices. You should not dry them in the sun either. Machine washing and use of damaged and worn insoles is not recommended.

The service life declared by the manufacturer is six months. But considering that each set consists of two pairs, you won't have to buy them often. Duration of use may increase if you do not wear them regularly.

Advantages and disadvantages

The advantages of the product are obvious:

  • absorption of micro-impacts at two points - under the heel tubercle and the balls of the feet;
  • effective arch support;
  • cushioning while running, reducing stress on joints;
  • providing lateral stability and optimal motion control during sports;
  • enhanced cushioning for work shoes;
  • Cooling of feet due to effective ventilation.

And the most important thing for which you should get Scholl insoles is everyday comfort for your feet. There are no contraindications for wearing insoles.

The disadvantage is the high price. The cost ranges from 990 to 1300 rubles, depending on where you are going to buy them.

What are consumers saying?

The main conclusion that can be drawn after reading the reviews is that the declared quality corresponds to the real one. In addition to convenience and practicality, users note the ability of insoles to seal worn-out shoes and a significant reduction in fatigue after long walking.

You can buy miracle insoles at a pharmacy, in stores or online. Comfortable, high-quality shoes are expensive, but Scholl insoles will help your feet for much less money. Healthy legs are an opportunity to move a lot, spend time usefully and with pleasure.

Many years of history and invaluable experience allow the German brand Scholl to provide ideal foot comfort. Sholl orthopedic insoles are a joint creation of the best dermatologists and orthopedists. Products are tested to strict standards and Scholl products are also used for diabetes.

Scholl gel insoles

A person's walking is a kind of fall from one leg to another, and for the legs it is microimpacts on the surface. The purpose of any earbuds is to soften falls and protect against discomfort on a daily basis. Scholl gel shoe insoles have many advantages:

  • convenient cut line for your individual foot size;
  • long service life;
  • anti-slip;

  • the top layer absorbs moisture that occurs during a long walk;
  • easy to wash without requiring special modes;
  • goes well with almost any shoe.

Scholl Work Insoles

Throughout the working day, a person wears shoes without taking them off. If the foot is positioned incorrectly, the joints of the leg are subject to enormous stress. Over time, this is reflected in the appearance of calluses and swelling. Scholl Work insoles are an orthopedic solution created by a trusted brand. The presence of Shol inserts inside the shoes supports the foot and reduces daytime fatigue.

Modern women work a lot and try to do absolutely everything. Scholl Gelactiv Work women's inserts for work are an excellent solution for maintaining healthy feet. There are also Shol pads that protect against pain caused by rubbing and heel spurs. Reasons why you need to buy these earbuds:

  • GelActiv technology takes pressure off the feet;
  • material of gel inserts – thermoplastic elastomer;
  • 2 types of gel solve 2 problems - the hard layer provides support for the heel area, the soft layer is designed to absorb shock.

Scholl Everyday

There is a huge weight placed on your feet every day. It is important to choose quality shoes to ensure their comfort. What to do if the shoes are beautiful and expensive, but very uncomfortable? You shouldn't give it up. Scholl Everyday insoles, designed specifically for daily wear, will help you gain a confident gait. Forget about corns and numerous calluses, get orthopedic support with the new yellow and blue inserts.

Scholl Sport

Sneakers alone are not always suitable for sports. When you are active and moving quickly, running, working out or playing tennis, it is important to have inserts to ensure your feet receive proper ventilation and support. In the store you can buy Scholl Sport insoles, which, according to reviews, can be used even by overweight people. Silicone earbuds have a number of advantages:

  • trendy design;
  • springing effect;
  • quickly transforming old shoes into a zone of increased comfort;
  • 2 gels for cushioning and arch support;
  • softening micro-impacts of the foot when jumping;
  • the design promotes correct heel position;
  • relieve some of the stress on the spine and leg joints.

Scholl deodorizing insoles

Shock-absorbing insoles create a cushion for the foot. In any shoes with correctly selected inserts you feel like you are wearing house slippers. To eliminate unpleasant odors during prolonged wear, we came up with deodorizing insoles for Scholl shoes. What are they needed for:

  • absorb sweat;
  • eliminate pathogens;
  • eliminates unpleasant odor;
  • the insole cushion contains activated carbon;
  • Polymer material to provide true protection.

How to choose Scholl insoles

It is important to look for a proven brand with innovative technology and knowledge in the field of orthopedics. Sholl insoles are the best choice; in the catalog you can choose a specific type of insoles for each activity. When choosing long-lasting inserts, you don’t need to pay attention to the size - it is universal and can be cut independently to fit your foot size. It should be remembered that it is advisable to change any liners every six months. There are 3 types of original Schol inserts:

  • Everyday;
  • Sport;
  • Work.

All of them are designed to eliminate everyday hassles and are inexpensive, giving you better health in return. Criteria for choosing a certain type of Shol liners:

  1. When and how long are you going to wear them?
  2. What foot problems concern you?
  3. Is there increased physical activity or a certain illness?
  4. What shoes are you going to use them for: sneakers, heels or flats.

Hello! Let me start, perhaps, by telling you that Scholl once had a wonderful product - insoles for increased comfort. They cost 150 rubles and, in principle, were nothing like that. They often helped out.

I got used to them, I bought them. But then Scholl releases a new “star” - innovative gel insoles Scholl gelactiv. Undoubtedly interesting. Perhaps not bad. Everything would be fine if at the same time they did not remove all their other products from the range.

Nominally, somewhere in the assortment of pharmacies there are still remnants of their old insoles (those that are deodorizing, with black coal), but in fact they are not there. There are only Scholl gel insoles in all their variety, which take up an entire shelf))

✔️ GEL INSOLES SHOL - PRICE

The prices for Schol gel insoles are not humane at all:
Start from 700 rubles in the most budget pharmacies
On average, you will have to pay about 800 rubles.
The most expensive option I've seen is this:

No one has yet surpassed this price tag)))

✔️ WHAT DOES SHOL GEL INSOLES ATTRACT?

Naturally, because something new has been released. It will be interesting to find out what benefits these new technologies offer for tired legs.

The second enticement is the opportunity to touch that same gel through the packaging (pharmacies actively offer this if there are no other visitors, and if they see you looking sideways with interest at the shelf with insoles).

IT IS A TRAP! Just know that this is exactly where I got caught.

If before the pharmacist’s offer to “poke”, I just looked at them sometimes, but after that I couldn’t help but buy them. So soft, so elastic... this gel, I could touch it and touch it)))

By the way, if you, like me, get stuck sometime in the future, I recommend dispelling the charm of the gel by simply turning the packaging over and touching the insole on the other side. This possibility also exists, but it doesn’t really stand out against the background of the bright colors of the attractive, advertising side))).

I only discovered this second hole at home

It is this side of the insole that you will have to deal with all the time after purchase; you will see the gel exactly until the moment you insert the insole into your shoes.
Such prose of life))

✔️ EXPECTATIONS FROM SHOL GEL INSOLES. MANUFACTURER PROMISES

What don’t they promise! You read it like this, and it seems that all your leg problems will go away))

But, as always, read the text in small print and what is marked with asterisks.

And what is marked with an asterisk here is that it provides shock absorption compared to NO INSOLES AT ALL.

This immediately alerted me. But okay, let's keep dancing)))

Some more promising descriptions from the manufacturer:

Scholl Gel Active shock-absorbing insoles solve the following problems:
* reduce the load on the feet during long walking;
* prevent the formation of calluses and corns;
* make the shoes used comfortable;
* provide softness to the feet during sports jogging, allowing for a longer workout.
Innovative developments by Scholl have made it possible to obtain a new type of shoe accessory. In the production of the product, two types of gel were used, the structure of which differs in density. The starting material for the gel base is a thermoplastic elastomer with high wear resistance.
* Solid gel provides high shock absorption properties, softening the impact of the foot with every step.
* Elements are made from soft gel that are responsible for reducing tension on the heel, as well as unloading the arch of the foot.
Regardless of the model, Scholl shock-absorbing gel insoles are a practical alternative for any type of flat shoe. The accessory can be used in shoes, boots, sneakers, and sandals.

✔️ TYPES OF SCHOLL GEL INSOLES

There are now three types of Scholl insoles of this type in pharmacies: SPORT, EVERYDAY, WORK

To be honest, their descriptions seem to be carbon copies, and it is quite difficult to understand how the Scholl Gelactive insoles differ from each other. In order to find the difference, I went to the official website and dug there for a long, long time.

My conclusions: Scholl gel insoles (any option) are needed to make the life of your feet more comfortable.
Where support is needed, they put a hard gray foam material, and where it is necessary to unload the foot (heel during impacts, for example), there is a yellow (or blue, they are the same tactile sensations) gel with a jelly structure.

Scholl gelactiv sport- as I understand it, this is more for people who, in short, are familiar firsthand with morning jogging and gyms. And it's not me.

Description:

Scholl GelActiv insoles effectively absorb shock and reduce excess pressure during running and sports. The design with durable instep support and shock-absorbing inserts is designed specifically for sports shoes. GelActiv technology provides superior shock absorption and cushioning thanks to an ergonomic gel insert placed inside the sockliner. GelActiv effectively absorbs micro-shocks and reduces shock loads that occur when walking or running.

Gel insoles Everyday needed for shoes that are used for ordinary walks without special loads. To the store, with the dog and home))
Description:
GelActiv technology provides superior shock absorption and cushioning thanks to an ergonomic gel insert placed inside the sockliner. GelActiv effectively absorbs micro-shocks and reduces shock loads that occur when walking. The double gel layer effectively absorbs micro-impact and helps reduce excess pressure when walking, providing comfort throughout the day. The hard layer acts as an arch support and supports the foot and heel, while the softer layer provides shock absorption and shock absorption.

Gel insoles Work slightly confusing with its name. Actually, I initially thought that this was for office workers who sit on their butts all day long)) Well, there is a passive massage of active points, ventilation of the foot....)
It turned out that this is not entirely true: this is for those people whose lifestyle involves working on their feet (teachers, for example, waiters, consultants in stores, pizza delivery people, croupiers in casinos, handouts of leaflets at the subway, will someone stop me, etc.),

Description:

GelActiv technology provides superior shock absorption and cushioning thanks to an ergonomic gel insert placed inside the sockliner. GelActiv effectively absorbs micro-shocks and reduces shock loads that occur when walking or running. Scholl GelActiv insoles help reduce excess pressure and effectively distribute it over the surface of the foot thanks to a double gel layer applied in the areas of contact between the insole and the foot. The insoles soften the impact of every step, providing the support your feet need, giving you the energy to move more.

My option is the last one - since I don’t just walk back and forth every day, I also often have to stand.

✔️ INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

First, let's take a closer look at the insoles:

The gender of the intended buyer is indicated in the corner.
The difference between M and F is solely in size, so if some cute princess’s foot turns out to be size 42, then she will have to buy the men’s version of insoles. The same rule applies to princes.
There are no other differences in the insoles.

How to prepare insoles for use:

How to care for your insoles:

✔️ PRACTICAL PART

I take the insoles out of the packaging, and I see these LOPS, I’m not afraid of this word.

Compared to the regular insoles that were there before, the difference is certainly noticeable. They were simply elegance itself, it turns out. Although I used to take it for granted)))

True, at first glance, the rounded heels make a good impression. It seems that they should be very comfortable.

The letter sizes are indicated on the packaging

And on the insoles themselves there are these same letters, plus it is indicated whether the insole is left or right (not to be confused!))))

✔️ WHAT SHOES ARE SCHOLL GEL INSOLES SUITABLE FOR?

The manufacturer claims that for anyone, but in practice this turned out to be not entirely true. More precisely, not at all like that.

I had several candidates.

In order to cut the gel insole, it was necessary to remove the current one from the shoe.

However, it turned out that I have shoes where the insole cannot be removed! That is, it is glued.

With the previous version of the insole (not gel), such problems did not arise, since it was not so thick as to cause discomfort, and I had no thoughts at all about REPLACING the insole. On the contrary, I invested it in addition to the existing one.

This option will not work with this one.
In addition, with this insole, due to its thickness, defects are practically unacceptable: it will bunch up and interfere with walking.

So, I started choosing shoes, and it turned out... that I would have a hard time

As you can see, the right one is completely unsuitable for replacement: it’s too elegant, even if I wanted to, I couldn’t create exactly the same shape from the available material.

****and again I remembered the previous version. Look: there it was possible to trim not only in length

Well, okay, I took a more or less suitable one, just a plump one - it turned out to be an almost equivalent replacement.

I put one on top of the other, I see that it is necessary to cut according to the size corresponding to 38. Everything is correct.

Trimmed it.

✔️ RESULT

The insoles turned out to be very ridiculous, slightly reminiscent of crow's feet. But it’s okay if it’s convenient!

***by the way, I’m sorry that I always fit in with the previous insoles, but here’s how it worked out with them. The difference is really visible.

But here you can’t cut it THAT way even if you wanted to: you could say that the settings are already preset by default, there’s no freedom of action. At least this applies to the back half of the foot 100%

Maybe you can try to make the toe a little narrower, but without markings it’s damn difficult.

It’s clear: with width (or what is it called, fullness?) - a complete failure! And this is in very loose shoes. The rest have narrower insoles:

☑️ VENTILATION,

Let me tell you, that's a bonus. Not only is it available in the “gelactiv” version only in the “WORK” version, but in the previous version the perforation was made many times better.
Here there are a measly 16 holes per unit of production.

Can you guess which one is which?
I get confused sometimes.

*The Scholl gel insole is more densely padded, but in terms of tactile sensations they are 100% identical.

***and again I can’t help but note that the old version of the insoles was MORE pleasant to the touch

SHOLL, PUT THOSE INSOLES BACK ON SALE AGAIN!!111!!!

✔️ ARE SHOL INSOLES EASY TO USE?

This is the most important thing. And if the insoles were comfortable, then they can be forgiven for all the ordeals of adjusting to size and other inconveniences.

But not in this case.

☑️ When I first came out wearing new insoles, I could feel the difference with the previous ones.
A very soft heel, which is clearly springy (the jelly-like gel does its job. This is quite unusual, but it is also unclear whether I like it or not. Because I usually walk and don’t even think about it, but here the heel seems to fall in when walking.

I walked a lot that day, and contrary to expectations, I was more tired than usual. It was in my feet that I was tired.

☑️ I chalked it up to the adaptation period. I continued to monitor the behavior of the insoles.
☑️ And they behaved disgustingly. And the more I walked, the more tired I got.
FOR THE FIRST TIME, I experienced discomfort in the area of the inner arch of the foot. It was as if I had to spend an hour on my toes - these were the sensations that awaited me after I took off my shoes in the evening.

*I think this is due to the fact that the load on the heels is removed, it becomes unusual and the toes begin to instinctively tense...or maybe not because of this, I don’t know.
But I know for sure that I was less comfortable with these insoles than with my own ones! Much less comfortable. And to be absolutely precise - UNCOMFORTABLE AT ALL.

☑️ A little later it suddenly got warmer here, and the weather gave the insoles a second chance.
I decided to put them in my good old sneakers.

I howled already on the first day. Well, it’s completely inconvenient! The insole is TOO THICK, it fills up a lot of space, it becomes creepy and uncomfortable.

Took it out. I walk with old insoles, which I am completely happy with))

✔️ EXPECTATION IS REALITY. SMALL RESULTS

Manufacturer:

The same pair of insoles can be used for different types of shoes.

Me: Not true! These are not the type of insoles that you can put in just any shoe you have. This is where the insoles decide where they will fit and where they won’t.

Manufacturer:

Thanks to the anatomical shape, GelActiv™ insoles are practically invisible in shoes.

Me: Apparently, I am exclusive. I felt them very well, and at the end of the day, I felt them in general. My legs were buzzing, as if it had been going away for twice as long as it actually was ((

Manufacturer:

In order to get your size, the insole can be cut along a special contour drawn directly on the surface of the insole.

Me: And you will get God knows what, not at all similar to any insoles I have in my shoes! Extremely bad layout.

✔️ ADVANTAGES

I didn't find them

✔️ DISADVANTAGES OF SCHOLL INSOLES

  • Suitable only for shoes with a removable insole, preferably thick
  • One pair of insoles is for one pair of shoes only. If you managed to perfectly cut the contour of the “original” insoles, then transferring these insoles to another shoe most likely will not work (unless, of course, this is the second identical pair of shoes). Although the manufacturer claims the opposite.
  • Expensive: 800 rubles for an effect inferior to its predecessors, which cost 150 rubles.
  • No expected effect. Personally, I found them less comfortable than the “original” insoles, and my legs got tired and didn’t rest as they were supposed to.
  • We removed the previous product, which completely satisfied me in terms of price-quality ratio
I didn't like it at all. Maybe it’s the work option that’s so unsuccessful, I don’t know.

*** I SURVIVED THIS BLOW OF FATE AND THE LOSS OF MONEY, AS USUAL, WITH HIS HELP
