Recently, there has been an increase in the number of children with various developmental disorders, learning difficulties, and adaptation difficulties. Such children are disinhibited, often aggressive for no reason, unable to switch quickly, perceive themselves and others negatively, and are unable to independently suppress negative emotions or control their soul and body. To overcome their existing disorders, prevent the development of pathological conditions, strengthen physical and mental health, it is necessary to carry out comprehensive corrective work; one of the most important components is a system of breathing exercises, breathing exercises. A person can do without food or water for some time, but he cannot live even ten minutes without air.

Thus, they believe that proper breathing saves a person from many diseases and prevents their occurrence. It improves digestion because before food is digested and absorbed, it must absorb oxygen from the blood and oxidize. Proper breathing stimulates the functioning of the heart, brain and nervous system. The ability to control your breathing allows you to control yourself. Exhaling slowly helps you relax, calm down, and cope with anxiety and irritability. This is very important for young children, since most of them are hyperactive, easily excitable children. In addition, most of them have enlarged adenoids and chronic runny nose, which leads to the habit of constantly breathing through the mouth.

Yogis note that breathing through the mouth is as unnatural as eating through the nose. They claim that children who breathe through their mouths are retarded in their mental development.

The habit of breathing through the mouth is harmful and leads to diseases of the thyroid gland, tonsils, and respiratory system. Nasal breathing protects the throat and lungs from cold air and dust, ventilates the lungs and middle ear cavity well, and has a beneficial effect on the blood vessels of the brain. In addition, such gymnastics significantly increases the strength of the protective mechanisms that protect the brain from insufficient blood supply. Slowing and holding the breath, accompanied by a decrease in oxygen content and an increase in carbon dioxide in the blood, activates corresponding mechanisms, including reflex vasodilation and an increase in cerebral blood flow. Of course, the breathing process affects the functioning of the brain. It is especially important for children to learn to lengthen their exhalation. It helps improve the breathing process, cleanse the respiratory organs and ensure proper inhalation. In addition, with a smooth, calm, extended exhalation, the vessels expand and are well filled with blood.

Separate blowing.

After a good exhalation, close the right nostril with the index finger of your right hand and inhale the air with your left. Then open the right nostril, close the left one with the index finger of the left hand and exhale completely and slowly. Then do the opposite - inhale through your right nostril and exhale through your left. Repeat several times. The exercise is very effective when the aroma lamp is burning.

Cleansing breathing - “scratching”.

First, take a good breath. Bend your arms at the elbows, fists at shoulder level. Take a calm inhale through your nose, a long, intense exhalation through your open mouth with the sound “ha,” while simultaneously throwing your arms forward and immediately starting to make scratching movements with your fingers. Perform “scratching” as long as it feels good to your hands. Then take a break and repeat the exercise 2-3 more times.

CONSULTATION FOR PARENTS BREATHING GYMNASTICS IN KINDERGARTEN

Our speech is carried out thanks to the clear and correct work of all organs taking part in the speech act. Breathing is an important part of speech. The respiratory organs include: chest, lungs and respiratory tract (external nose, nasal cavity, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi). The breathing apparatus ensures gas exchange between the inhaled air and blood, as well as purification of dust particles, humidification and warming of the inhaled air.

Physiological, or vital, breathing consists of inhalation and exhalation, which replace each other. It is designed to maintain life in the body through gas exchange. Speech breathing is designed to participate in the creation of vocal sound during a uniform exhalation. It differs from life in that it is a controlled process. In speech, the inhalation is short and the exhalation is long. Therefore, the amount of air exhaled depends on the length of the phrase. Speech breathing is considered incorrect if the breathing is rapid, the exhalation is shortened, the inhalation is too large or the intake of air is noticeable to others. The most correct, appropriate and convenient for speech is diaphragmatic-costal breathing.

Regular breathing exercises help to develop proper speech breathing with long, gradual inhalations and prevent respiratory diseases. Diseases such as rhinitis, nasopharyngitis, rhinosinusitis, sinusitis, chronic bronchitis, adenoiditis, nasal polyps often cause sound pronunciation in children, complicate the process of correct speech breathing, change the intonation color of the voice, and cause changes in the structure of the organs of articulation.

Proper nasal breathing helps train the respiratory muscles, improves local and cerebral circulation, prevents the growth of adenoids, and protects against hypothermia.

In a preschool institution, special attention should be paid to breathing exercises. Correct speech breathing is the basis for normal sound pronunciation and speech in general. Some sounds require an energetic, strong exhalation, a strong air stream.

During classes, you must comply with the following requirements:

Perform exercises every day for 3 - 6 minutes, depending on the age of the children;

Carry out exercises in well-ventilated areas or with an open window;

Exercise before meals;

Exercise in loose clothing that does not restrict movement;

Dose the amount and pace of exercises;

Inhale air through the mouth and nose, exhale through the mouth;

Inhale lightly and briefly, and exhale long and sparingly;

During speech breathing, do not strain the muscles in the neck, arms, abdomen, chest; do not raise your shoulders when inhaling and lower them when exhaling;

After exhaling, before inhaling again, stop for 2 - 3 seconds.

GAME EXERCISES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF PHYSIOLOGICAL AND SPEECH BREATHING

Breathing exercises for children

Teaching your child simple and fun breathing exercises, you will make an invaluable contribution to his health + prevention of ARVI

Respiratory exercises can be done during the morning gymnastics, gymnastics after waking up or while walking.

At first respiratory exercises seem to be one of the most difficult for children. And it is all the more important to help children by turning boring exercises into a fun game.

You should not set a goal to complete all the exercises at once. You can perform several well-known ones, gradually adding new ones to them, or change them, dividing them by day of the week.

Breathing exercises For a child, it can become both a pleasant pastime, which he himself will strive for, and a painful routine action, which only causes negative emotions. All in your hands!

Why breathing exercises are needed?

« Respiratory The child’s system is designed by Nature in an extremely complex and wise manner. the main task parents and teachers - to keep it healthy"

Respiratory exercise helps saturate every cell of the body with oxygen. Ability to manage breathing promotes the ability to manage oneself.

Moreover, the correct breath stimulates the functioning of the heart, brain and nervous system, relieves a person from many diseases, improves digestion (before food is digested and absorbed, it must absorb oxygen from the blood and oxidize).

Exhaling slowly helps you relax, calm down, and cope with anxiety and irritability.

Besides, respiratory exercise is simply necessary for children who often suffer from colds, bronchitis, as well as those recovering from pneumonia or suffering from bronchial asthma.

Breathing exercises perfectly complements any treatment (drug, homeopathic, physiotherapeutic, develops still imperfect respiratory system of the child and strengthens the body's defenses.

Convinced that breathing exercises for children are also important for babies, and adults? And I want to warn you right away.

While studying breathing exercises, it is important to ensure that the child does not have symptoms of hyperventilation (rapid breath, a sharp change in complexion, trembling of the hands, a feeling of tingling and numbness in the arms and legs).

If you start to feel dizzy, put your palms together ( "bucket", bring them close to your face and breathe deeply into them several times (2-3 times). After that breathing exercises can be continued.

Exercise technique breathing exercises for children:

Take in air through the nose;

Do not raise your shoulders;

The exhalation should be long and smooth;

It is necessary to ensure that your cheeks do not puff out (to begin with, you can hold them with your hands).

I offer you several breathing exercises:

"Swing". The child is in a lying position; a light toy is placed on his stomach in the diaphragm area. Inhale and exhale through the nose. Adult says rhyme:

Swing up (inhale,

Swing down (exhale,

Hold on tight, my friend.

"The porridge is boiling". Initial position (IP): sitting, one hand lies on the stomach, the other on the chest. Drawing in the stomach and drawing air into the lungs - inhale, lowering the chest (exhaling air) and sticking out your stomach - exhale. When exhaling, pronounce the sound loudly "f-f-f-f". Repeat 3-4 times.

"Hippo". IP: lying or sitting. The child places his palm on the diaphragm and breathes deeply. Inhalation and exhalation are done through the nose

The exercise can be performed in a sitting position and be accompanied by rhyme:

The hippos sat down and touched their bellies.

Then the tummy rises (inhale,

Then the tummy drops (exhalation).

"Watch". IP: standing, legs slightly apart, arms down. Swinging your straight arms back and forth, say "tick-tock". Repeat up to 10 times.

"Blow up the balloon". IP: the child is sitting or standing. "Blowing up the balloon" spreads his arms wide and deep inhales, then slowly brings his hands together, joining his palms in front of his chest and blowing out air - ffff. "The ball burst"- clap your hands, "air comes out of the balloon"- child pronounces: "sh-sh-sh", stretching out his lips with his proboscis, lowering his arms and settling down like a balloon from which the air has been let out.

"Trumpeter". IP: sitting, hands clenched into a tube, raised up. Exhale slowly while pronouncing the sound loudly "p-f-f-f-f". Repeat up to 5 times.

Master class for parents and teachers

When examining low-performing students, it is revealed that more than half of the children have impaired nasal breathing (adenoids, chronic rhinitis, hypertrophy of the palatine tonsils). A connection has been established between breathing patterns and learning success. His physical and intellectual development depends on whether a child breathes correctly or not.

But even a minor “malfunction” of nasal breathing has a harmful effect on the entire body.

When breathing through the mouth, much less air enters the lungs; only their upper sections will work, which means the body will receive less oxygen. The voice changes, speech is disrupted, the child begins to nasal and speak monotonously. In addition, it becomes more difficult for him to chew food. The sense of smell becomes dull and appetite disappears. Improper breathing also affects the teeth: they gradually become curved and caries can develop. The fluid that washes the brain also stagnates, and substances harmful to the nervous system accumulate in it. Therefore, children who breathe through their mouths are irritable, whiny, absent-minded and lethargic. All this proves how important it is to monitor the breathing of young children. Performing breathing exercises allows you to develop diaphragmatic breathing, practice the duration, strength and correct distribution of exhalation. Regular breathing exercises help to develop correct speech breathing with extended, gradual exhalation, which allows you to obtain a supply of air for pronouncing segments of different lengths. Well-placed speech breathing ensures clear diction and clear pronunciation of sounds.

1. Before performing breathing exercises, it is necessary to ventilate the room.

4. You need to ensure that the muscles of the arms, neck, and chest do not strain during the exercises.

Exercise technique:

Make sure you inhale correctly - through your nose;

Do not raise your shoulders;

The inhalation should be long and smooth;

It is necessary to ensure that your cheeks do not puff out (at the initial stage, you can press them with your palms)

Repeat each exercise no more than 3-5 times (repeated exercises can lead to dizziness)

Suggested Exercises

"Blow up the balloon"

The child inhales through his nose and exhales the entire volume of air into the balloon.

"Football"

Roll a ball out of a piece of cotton wool - this is a ball, the gate is 2 pyramids. The child blows on the “ball”, trying to score a goal, the cotton wool should be between the cubes.

"Bubble"

The exercise promotes the development of strong, smooth exhalation and activation of the labial muscles. You can use standard frames; for a more complicated version, cocktail tubes are suitable.

"Feather, fly"

Throw the feather up and blow on it, not letting it fall down, directing the stream of air upward onto the feather. You can blow on a feather lying on the table.

"Sail on, little boat"

Place a bowl of water in which a paper boat floats on a low table; at first it is better to use a plastic boat, as paper boats quickly get wet and sink. “Imagine that this is the sea. Let's set the boat sailing. Look how strong the wind is and how fast our boat sailed. »

"Turntables"

Let's make some wind and blow on the turntable. How it started spinning, let’s blow even harder.”

"Breeze"

Before starting the game, you need to make “pultants”. To do this, attach strips of colored paper to a wooden stick or tube. You can use foil and a “rain” Christmas tree decoration. Offer to play with the sultan. Imagine this is a magical tree. The breeze blew and the leaves rustled on the tree. Like this! Now you blow!

"Storm in a glass"

To play, you need a cocktail straw and a glass of water. A straw is placed in the middle of the wide tongue, the end of which is lowered into a glass of water. The child blows through the straw so that the water begins to bubble. Make sure your cheeks do not puff out and your lips are still.

"Sea waves"

The child holds the straw with his lips and exhales slowly and easily onto the surface of the water so that weak waves go through the water.

« Breathing exercises by Alexandra Strelnikova»

Everyone has known for a long time that development exercises breathing play an important role in the development of health in preschool children.

Breathing exercises It can be practiced for children from 3 to 4 years old. It can be done standing, sitting, and in serious condition even lying down.

On average, you need a month of daily exercise, 2 times a day, to feel the therapeutic effect for any disease.

Never give up this gymnastics. Exercise at least once a day for the rest of your life and you will not need medication.

Benefit breathing exercises by Strelnikova for children:

Lesson results breathing exercises by Strelnikova really impressive. It effectively helps in the treatment of a whole range of ailments, while enhancing the effectiveness of various treatment methods, including medications and alternative ones. In their number:

Chronic diseases of the sinuses, bronchi and lungs, including pneumonia and asthma;

Diabetes;

Heart diseases;

Peptic ulcer (in remission);

Neurological diseases.

When performing exercises, the body's immune forces are activated. Gymnastics allows you to develop flexibility, plasticity, and also helps correct postural disorders in children and adolescents due to the activity in the process of performing exercises of almost all muscle groups.

The child's body begins to develop at an optimal pace. Oxygen metabolism is activated in all tissues of the body, which contributes to the normalization and optimization of its functioning as a whole.

The purpose of teaching preschool children breathing exercises according to method A. N. Strelnikova

Help improve children's health and promote a healthy lifestyle.

Alexandra Nikolaevna Strelnikova – opera singer, theater teacher. Together with her mother, she developed the principles breathing exercises to expand the range of the voice, improve timbre, and subsequently improve health. In 1972, copyright was registered for "Method of treating diseases associated with loss of voice"

Principle gymnastics A. N. Strelnikova- a short and sharp breath through the nose in combination with movements that compress the chest. This causes a physiological response throughout the body that provides a wide range of positive effects.

When doing exercises

certain rules:

Inhalation – loud, active (just sniff noisily throughout the room, as if sniffing)

Exhalation is completely passive, exits through the nose or mouth (whatever is convenient for you). It is generally forbidden to think about exhalation. The air should escape on its own after each breath.

Each exercise must be learned until it becomes automatic.

IN breathing exercises by Strelnikova short noisy breaths through the nose are taken simultaneously with movements: grab - sniff, bow - sniff, turn - sniff.

Complex breathing exercises(according to A.N. Strelnikova)

“Big pendulum! ( "Tumbler toy")

The tumbler bent down

But if you fall, you won’t fall.

Even if who is my Yashka

He will push the tumbler in the side.

He will push the toy to the side

And in response he will hear a ringing sound.

Very interesting to Yashka:

What's inside the tumbler?

This is a complex exercise consisting of two simple: "Pump" And "Hug your shoulders".

On account "once" We bend down slightly, the back is round, the head is lowered, the hands are stretched to the knees - inhale. Exhale - go back.

On account "two"- throw our head back, “hug ourselves”- inhale. Let's go back - exhale.

"Pump" (Pump up the tires)

Cars are flying along the highway -

Everyone is in a hurry and buzzing.

We pump up the tires

We breathe many times in a row.

Children stand slightly bent over, with their heads down. Hands "pump up the pump"– downward movement - inhale. I. p. - exhale.

"Cat" (squat with rotation)

Feet tread softly

He eats with his tongue instead of a spoon,

You stroke her a little -

The cat will immediately purr.

I. p. as in exercise 1. On account "once" we turn the upper half of the body to the right, squat slightly, the hands make a grasping movement - inhale. Exhale - I.P. on the count "two" movement in the other direction.

Norm: 4 times 4 inhalations and exhalations.

“Hug your shoulders!”

(inhale to compress the chest “Join your elbows!”)

Oh, how good I am

How I love myself!

Many hugs

Nose I inhale!

I. p. - arms are bent at the elbows, raised to chest level and spread to the sides, the right hand is lower than the left.

On account "once" We hug ourselves so that our elbows are close.

We change the position of the hands.

Norm: 4 times 4 inhalations and exhalations.

"Palms"

A poem for learning, the exercise is performed without a poem.

Palms, palms,

Loud firecrackers.

We clench our palms,

nose correctly inhale.

How we unclench our palms,

That's free exhale.

Children stand straight and straight. Feet slightly wider than shoulder width, arms bent at the elbows, palms turned towards "viewer".

On account "once"- grasping movements with palms (clench them into fists) and inhale at the same time.

For 4 counts, we take 4 short breaths in a row. Let's relax 3-5 seconds and continue. The norm is 4 times 4 inhalations and exhalations.

"Epaulettes"

Here are the epaulets on the shirt,

Dark leather belt.

I'm not just a boy now -

I'm a military pilot!

I. p. - the same. Hands in fists, fists pressed to the stomach at waist level.

On account "once" We forcefully push our fists down and straighten our fingers - inhale.

We return to the starting position.
