Beneficial cooperation with famous directors S. Rostotsky and S. Govorukhin resulted in dozens of films that have not lost their popularity to this day.

One should not think that Svetlana worked with only two directors; there were others. For example, in the film “The Diamond Arm” by Leonid Gaidai, Svetlichnaya was noted as the first performer of Soviet striptease. The blonde seducing the modest Nikulin was remembered by all viewers, despite the fact that she appeared in the film only a few times in episodes. In the real personal life of the beauty, passions were in full swing; being already at an advanced age, she won the hearts of young men.

Height, weight, age. How old is Svetlana Svetlichnaya

It was there, in the city of Leninakan in 1940, on May 15, that a cute little girl was born, who was named Sveta, and who was destined to become a star of the Soviet movie screen. Throughout her life, she took care of herself, maintaining the beauty of her face and the lovely shape of her body, gifted by nature. With a height of 166 cm, her weight is 55 kg. Biography of actress Svetlana Svetlichnaya

Little Svetlanka was lucky to be born into the family of a general. Being a general's daughter, she was never denied anything. The girl’s mother also never thought about where to get money for food or clothes. The Svetlichnykhs were fully provided for by the head of the family. The only drawback of Sveta’s father’s military rank was the frequent moves. As mentioned earlier, the girl was born in Armenia, started going to school in the Sumy region, and received a certificate of secondary education in the Baltic states. This is the kind of cycle the Svetlichnys had to make around their native country. So the biography of actress Svetlana Svetlichnaya is very interesting.

Sveta’s mother herself participated in amateur performances and taught her daughter to the stage from a very young age. It was her mother who inspired the not-too-brave little girl that fame as an actress awaited her, she took her to drama clubs, and she, having bought a train ticket, sent the beautiful heiress to Moscow to enroll in VGIK. Anxiety usually gets in the way in such situations, but Sveta, on the contrary, helped. Out of excitement, she showed the examination committee everything she was capable of and was accepted, as they say, unanimously.

Very soon the talented beauty became her teacher's favorite. It is not surprising that in her first year Svetlichnaya gained popularity and won the heart of the most enviable VGIK student. Vladimir Ivashov was an older student and fell madly in love with the most beautiful student. Subsequently he became Sveta's husband.

The debut role of the young talent was an episode in the film “Lullaby”. The next job on the set was offered to Svetlana in 1961. This time the actress received the main role in the film “They Conquer the Sky”. After the success of the film, Svetlichnaya began to regularly receive film offers. Viewers remember the simple cook Pavlina from the movie “The Cook.” One of the actress’s partners in the film was Vladimir Vysotsky. This was followed by roles in the films “Not Under Judgment”, “Chistye Prudy” and many others. Real success came to Svetlana after “The Diamond Arm”. The striptease performed by the owner of the treasured robe with mother-of-pearl buttons was ordered to be cut out by senior management.

Personal life of Svetlana Svetlichnaya

When Sveta studied at VGIK, she met her love there. Vladimir Ivashov and Svetlana Svetlichnaya were called the most beautiful couple in the artistic community. Their romance ended with a wedding and the birth of children. But jealousy interfered with complete happiness; the husband had too many fans and the wife had too many fans. Quarrels and scandals often arose between spouses. There were betrayals, then there was repentance and reconciliation... In a word, Svetlana Svetlichnaya’s personal life did not proceed entirely smoothly.

It often seemed that the marriage was about to break up, but the couple lived together until Vladimir’s death. He forgave his wife everything, loved her too much, only once left her for another, not coming to terms with the fact that Sveta had an affair with Mironov. To return her beloved husband to the family, the actress gave birth to his second son.

Family of Svetlana Svetlichnaya

In her family, Sveta was not the only child of the general; Svetlana Svetlichnaya’s family was considered large, as she raised three children. The girl had two brothers, an older and a younger one. The eldest's name was Valery, now he is no longer alive. Oleg, 13 years younger than his sister, became his father’s real heir; he devoted his life to the army. Now retired, lives in Penza. Interestingly, he and his sister were born on the same day, 13 years apart.

The actress was legally married twice. Her first husband, Vladimir Ivashov, died, she did not live together with her second, Sergei Sokolsky, even for one month, and filed for divorce. Now Svetlana lives alone in the Yasenevo district of Moscow.

Children of Svetlana Svetlichnaya

Many are of the opinion that beautiful women, and even actresses, are in no hurry to become mothers. This statement has nothing to do with Svetlichnaya. She and her husband really wanted children. First, the beautiful wife gave Vladimir one heir, then after a major quarrel, when they again decided to forget all the grievances and be together, Sveta gave birth to a second son. So Svetlana Svetlichnaya’s children are the guardians of her family.

Son of Svetlana Svetlichnaya - Alexey

The eldest son of the Ivashov-Svetlichnaya couple was named Alexey. The boy's parents raised and raised him well. He is a dentist, although usually the children of actors follow in the footsteps of their parents. He has a daughter, whose name is Masha, the girl also works as a dentist. It’s interesting that Alexei’s grandson was named Vladimir in honor of his famous great-grandfather, and besides, the boy’s last name is Ivashov, so there is a complete tyke of Svetlichnaya’s ex-husband in the world. After the death of his father, Svetlana Svetlichnaya’s son Alexey greatly supported his mother in her grief.

Son of Svetlana Svetlichnaya - Oleg

The death of her husband was not the actress’s only great grief. The worst thing for a mother is the death of her child. Svetlichnaya had a chance to bury her youngest son, whose name was Oleg. When he was 33 years old, he died. Recently, the actress’s son has been abusing alcohol. This addiction was named the cause of death.

The media voiced many versions of his death, no one can reliably say what really happened to the guy. The tragedy occurred in Oleg’s house in the Ivanovo region. There was talk about the guy’s violent death, but his brother Alexey categorically denied speculation regarding Oleg’s murder. Svetlana Svetlichnaya's son Oleg is buried next to his father.

Former husband of Svetlana Svetlichnaya - Vladimir Ivashov

Svetlana began an affair with Vladimir after a passionate kiss during one of the rehearsals of the play at VGIK. After this, six months passed, and the couple got married. Svetlana was the envy of all the girls in the country, because her husband became famous for his role in the film “The Ballad of a Soldier.” It was impossible not to fall in love with the main character Alyosha Skvortsov (V. Ivashov).

A year later, a son was born, they named him in honor of the same Alyosha Skvortsov. After the wedding, Svetlana was forced to live in a communal apartment with the Ivashovs. Not only did the beauty have to, but she was also at odds with her mother-in-law. In the 90s, the acting family was left without work. The wife took care of the children and the house, and the husband was forced to earn money at construction sites. Hard work brought the famous actor to the operating table. During the operation, the heart failed, and Svetlana Svetlichnaya’s ex-husband Vladimir Ivashov died. At that time he was only 56 years old.

Svetlana Svetlichnaya's ex-husband - Sergei Sokolsky

Left as a widow, the actress lived with virtually no means; she had to work in menial jobs and wash floors. When Sergei appeared on her way and gave her hope for family happiness, she seemed to blossom. Svetlana Svetlichnaya's ex-husband Sergei Sokolsky was 20 years younger than his star wife. After 27 days, Svetlichnaya divorced the young poet. The actress does not want to talk about this unsuccessful attempt to become a happy wife again, but sometimes she recalls with resentment that there was deception on Sergei’s part.

In the careers of some actors, there are roles that are remembered by the audience more than others. Sometimes this becomes a real punishment - just one image can become so ingrained in the heads of not only the audience, but even the directors that the actor’s profile becomes very narrow. The biography of Svetlana Svetlichnaya had a similar fact. The role that brought her the greatest success was Anna Sergeevna in the film “The Diamond Arm.” The image of the fatal beauty was so imprinted in the minds of television viewers that Svetlichnaya struggled with it for a long time.

Childhood

Svetlana Svetlichnaya, biography, whose personal life is described below, was born into a wealthy general’s family. Like many military families, they often changed their place of residence. Therefore, Svetlana was born on May 15, 1940 in the city of Leninakan (present-day Gyumri) in the Armenian Republic. She became a first-grader in a small town in the Sumy region. And the end of school took place in the city of Sovetsk, Kaliningrad region. The year of graduation turned out to be important in Svetlana’s life - her father retired and the family was going to settle in Melitopol.

Choice of profession

Despite her attractive appearance, Svetlana was quite modest as a girl. And the fact that she entered a cinematic university is largely due to her mother. She herself was a very creative person and often participated in amateur performances, so it is not surprising that she dreamed of an acting career for her daughter. And it was she who insisted that Svetlana go to Moscow and submit documents to VGIK. Already in the capital, Svetlichnaya learned that the competition for one place was 80 people. This scared her greatly. And, apparently, fear catalyzed all her possibilities in the future movie star - Svetlana enrolled in a course with the very master of cinema - Mikhail Romm. Much later, the actress said that if it were not for her mother’s persistence, then most likely she would have gone to study at a medical or physical education school. And then the Soviet Union would have lost its iconic actress.

Training at VGIK

The biography of Svetlana Svetlichnaya as an actress was also predetermined by the fact that the course she studied was truly stellar. Among her classmates were Andron Konchalovsky, Valery Nosik and Galina Polskikh. This is not surprising, because they all studied with the greatest master and teacher - Mikhail Romm. As is often the case with popular actors and actresses, Svetlana was one of the master’s most beloved students. Many noted that, in addition to her flexible acting talent, Svetlana also had extraordinary choreographic abilities. Sometimes her performances attracted a lot of student spectators who came specially to see her.

Let's continue the article on the topic "Svetlana Svetlichnaya: biography." The photos below are dedicated to the heroine and her soulmate.

First screen tests

Svetlana began her career on the silver screen while still an unmarried student. Her first film appearance was a small role in Mikhail Kalik’s film “Lullaby”. Although the role was episodic, it marked the beginning of the actress’s film career.

A few years later, her first major success - she gets a role from a serious director - Tatyana Lioznova in the film “They Conquer the Sky.”

Marriage

What else can you tell on the topic “Svetlana Svetlichnaya: biography, personal life”? Photos confirm that she was incredibly beautiful, but this could not always bring her happiness.

Studying at VGIK turned out to be fateful for Svetlana in terms of her personal life. At one of the student parties in the dormitory, she met an older student, Vladimir Ivashov. At the time of their acquaintance, Svetlichnaya had not yet seen the film “The Ballad of a Soldier” with Ivashov in the title role, but he was still able to conquer her. The actress recalled that later she finally watched the film, and this helped to develop even more feelings for the already famous actor.

Due to absences from classes related to filming, Ivashov had to switch to a lower course. So he began to study together with Svetlana. For a long time, young actors loved each other without confession. And only at the dress rehearsal of the play, after a kiss, Ivashov admitted to Svetlana that he loved her. The young actors got married six months later.

The biography of Svetlana Svetlichnaya has been replenished with a new happy fact. A year after the wedding, their first son, Alyosha, was born. His name was given in honor of the main character of the film “The Ballad of a Soldier.” The first years of their life together were difficult: the couple had to live in a room in a communal apartment with Ivashov’s parents. Svetlichnaya’s relationship with them was not very good, which could not but affect her relationship with her husband.

Life after college

Ivashov and Svetlana Svetlichnaya, biography, whose personal life is described in the article, graduated from the institute in 1963, and they were immediately accepted into the troupe of the Film Actor Studio Theater. Soon, family life began to improve - after long visits to the authorities, they received a two-room apartment. Throughout the 60s, the couple actively filmed a lot.
In 1964, Svetlana starred in a small role with Marlen Khutsiev in the popular film “I’m 20 Years Old.” And in 1965, she starred in “A Hero of Our Time,” where her husband also played.
There were also leading roles at that time, for example, in the film “The Cook”. Gradually, the actress becomes recognizable and receives recognition as one of the most beautiful Soviet actresses. The biography of Svetlana Svetlichnaya is published in magazines, she is invited to television shows.

Fateful "Diamond Hand"

In 1968, the film “The Diamond Arm” was released on the screens of Soviet cinemas, which greatly changed Svetlichnaya’s life and career. In the film she played Anna Sergeevna. The role was small, completely incomparable with the resonance that Svetlichnaya received from her. The first striptease in the Soviet Union, shown on screens, greatly increased the actress's popularity. In addition, her beauty was different from the beauty of other actresses who were considered the standard at that time.

Birth of a second child

The 70s were marked for the actress by increasing scandals in the family. The popularity of Svetlichnaya and Ivashov only grew, mutual reproaches and jealousy appeared. They said that there were even cases of betrayal on both sides. The most famous of them is Svetlana’s romance with actor Andrei Mironov, which did not last long. But both actors always returned to the family. And the result of their reconciliation was the birth of their second son, Oleg. And still, this did not help save the couple from quarrels that occurred with enviable regularity.

Title "People's..."

After her role in “The Diamond Arm,” Svetlana’s career began to decline. It turned out that everyone saw her only in the role of a fatal beauty, but she wanted to play, for example, Anna Karenina.

In 1973, the series “Seventeen Moments of Spring” was released, where the actress received the role. After this filming, the actress was given the title of People's Artist of the RSFSR. In the same year, she starred in a joint project between the Soviet Union and Hungary - the film “Hold on to the Clouds.” But circumstances were such that Soviet viewers never saw the film.
The year 1979 was marked for the actress by her participation in the filming of a film no less beloved by the audience - “The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed.”

Departure of Vladimir Ivashov

The biography of Svetlana Svetlichnaya, a talented beautiful actress, was not cloudless. Svetlana does not like to remember many of her roles, starting from the mid-70s. The 80s brought her even less film work. And by the beginning of the 90s, the actress practically stopped being invited to act in films. An even bigger shock was that the theater in which she worked began to fall apart. In 1993, new management of this cultural institution appeared, deciding that many of the actors in it were messing around and needed to get rid of them.

Svetlichnaya and Ivashov left on their own, without waiting for a humiliating dismissal.

The lack of film roles and the loss of work in the theater opened up a new side of life for Svetlichnaya - she began to devote a lot of time to her family and home. Ivashov also turned out to be an unclaimed actor in the 90s. But he had to feed his family, so he had to get a job in construction. The actor had a hard time with the change of profession, and besides, he was suffering from a long-standing illness - a stomach ulcer. March 23, 1995 was a particularly difficult day at the construction site. At some point, Ivashov simply fell, an ambulance was called, he was taken to the hospital, where an emergency operation was performed. But the actor died anyway.

Living alone

Svetlichnaya was able to survive the death of her husband thanks to the support of her sons. Both of them once wanted to follow in their parents' footsteps - to become actors. But their parents dissuaded them. The eldest son became a dental technician. And the younger Oleg for a long time could not find a place for himself in life. He had to work in the market and in a car repair shop.
For some time, Svetlana lived alone, in an extremely poor, almost beggarly state.

Soon everything changed, a man 20 years younger than her appeared in the actress’s life - the poet Sergei Sokolsky. Love broke out between them, which led to a short-term marriage.

Let's continue the story on the topic "Svetlana Svetlichnaya: biography."

While still working at the market, Oleg, Svetlana’s youngest son, began drinking. To save her son, Svetlichnaya buys him a house in the Ivanovo region, hoping that in nature the young man will come to his senses. But, unfortunately, the situation only got worse. In 2006, Svetlana’s youngest son died of liver damage.

She returns to the screens with a small role in her directorial debut Renata Litvinova“Goddess: how I fell in love” in 2004, after which Svetlana Svetlichnaya was again remembered and talked about.

Svetlana Afanasyevna Svetlichnaya. Born on May 15, 1940 in Leninakan (now Gyumri, Armenia). Soviet and Russian theater and film actress, Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1974).

Svetlana Svetlichnaya was born on May 15, 1940 in the Armenian city of Leninakan (now Gyumri) into a military family.

In total, there were three children in the Svetlichny family: Svetlana had an older brother Valery (he has already died) and a younger brother Oleg (13 years younger than her, although he was born on the same day - May 15, he was a military man, now retired and lives in Penza).

Due to his father's profession, the family constantly moved from place to place.

She went to the first grade of school in the Ukrainian city of Akhtyrka, Sumy region, and finished school in Sovetsk, Kaliningrad region.

Even in kindergarten, she began attending a drama club, and later continued to study in a theater studio during her school years.

Her mother (by the way, a Don Cossack woman) played a huge role in her becoming an actress. As the actress recalled, while still pregnant, her mother told her father: “If a girl is born, we’ll call her Svetlana. Can you imagine how beautiful it will sound: “actress Svetlana Svetlichnaya”?” The fact is that her mother herself dreamed of becoming an actress in her youth, but she married a military man and tried to realize her dream through her daughter. “And the fact that I became an actress, of course, is a great merit of my mother,” noted Svetlana Afanasyevna.

In her youth, she was actively involved in sports - she played volleyball, basketball, did athletics, gymnastics, and swam well (she had a rank).

In 1958, after her father retired, the family settled in Melitopol.

In the same 1958, at the insistence of her mother, Svetlana entered VGIK, which she graduated from in 1963, course. We studied with her on the course, Valery Nosik.

After graduating from university, she joined the troupe of the Film Actor's Studio Theater. Among the most famous works is the role of Marya Timofeevna Lebyadkina in the play “Demons” based on the novel by F.M. Dostoevsky.

She made her film debut in 1960 in Mikhail Kalik’s film “Lullaby”.

And her first big role - Nadya Kolchina - in the film by Tatiana Lioznova "They conquer the sky" she played in 1961, while still a student at VGIK. Her partners were Nikolai Rybnikov, Evgeny Evstigneev, Oleg Zhakov. Svetlichnaya was entrusted with the role of the wife of the pilot, played by Rybnikov. “They aged me, they rejuvenated him. But it turned out to be a very good couple. And the film turned out great,” she recalled.

The film was released in 1965 "Cook", in which she played the main role - Pavlina Khutornaya, a young widow. The film was coldly received by critics: “I remember when it came out, a mocking article appeared in the Soviet Screen entitled “Drama with a Half-Load.” Everyone was criticizing it,” the actress recalled. But the audience received the film well.

She received widespread love from the audience after her role as the fatal temptress Anna Sergeevna in the comedy "The Diamond Arm". In this role, Svetlichnaya, albeit with humor, embodied a completely new type of woman at that time - modern, stylish, sexually liberated. This was the first semi-erotic scene in Soviet cinema.

The actress recalled how difficult that scene was for her: “Imagine: what it meant forty years ago to film half-naked in the presence of a huge number of men from the film crew. Plus, people came running from other pavilions: a rumor instantly spread that “now Svetlichnaya will undress.” Especially I got nervous when they asked me to tear off my bra and throw it on the floor. I was shaking like a leaf! And Yuri Vladimirovich Nikulin helped me in this situation. He called me aside and said: “Svetka, why are you shaking? Don’t look at anyone, only for me, I am my own person. In this scene, I will play along with you." He said it so convincingly that all my fears instantly disappeared."

Svetlana Svetlichnaya in the film "The Diamond Arm"

As Svetlana Afanasyevna admitted, at one time she was upset that her name was associated primarily with the role of Anna Sergeevna from “The Diamond Arm,” but then she reconciled: “I think: let one of the current stars play the episode in such a way that it will be for everyone memorable. For so many people to come to your creative meetings and their eyes to shine... Any artist can only dream about this!"

At the same time, the actress noted: “But I never, ever considered or felt myself to be a beauty, much less a sex symbol (as they wrote everywhere after The Diamond Arm). Honestly, I don’t flirt.”

She is also remembered for many of her other roles - the lady in “Father Sergius”, Gabi in “Seventeen Moments of Spring”, the flight attendant in the drama “Not Under Judgment”.

Svetlana Svetlichnaya in the film "Seventeen Moments of Spring"

In Soviet times, as part of various kinds of delegations, the actress was in a huge number of countries - in all socialist countries, in Mexico, Chile, France, Sweden... She herself said: “She traveled almost half the world! At the same time, the strangest and most terrible thing for me was that , that I went there as a “Russian beauty”, as a “decoration” of these delegations, but with other people’s paintings.”

Her bottomless blue eyes captivated the famous film master Luchino Visconti; he dreamed of seeing Svetlichnaya in his films. But the Soviet film industry did not approve of this. She herself found out about this many decades later, when a foreign journalist told her: “Svetlana, do you know that Luchino Visconti wanted to meet you, dreamed of filming you? He was simply in love with your eyes.” I didn’t believe it, and he sent me a newspaper with an interview with the master, where he really talks about it. But I didn’t even know about it! It turns out that he saw me at some festival, sent me an invitation through Goskino. But they answered him that I was “extremely busy at home , and they can’t let me go." Although in reality I was unemployed."

The actress worked with many famous directors - (“Starling and Lyra”), Stanislav Rostotsky (“Hero of Our Time”), Marlen Khutsiev (“Ilyich’s Outpost”), Julius Fayt (“While the Front is on Defense”), Tatyana Lioznova (“Them conquers the sky”, “Seventeen Moments of Spring”), (“The Diamond Arm”), Georgy Danelia (“Thirty Three”), Edmond Keosayan (“The Cook”, “New Adventures of the Elusive”), Mikhail Kalik (“Lullaby”, “Love” "), ("Meeting place can not be Changed").

In the 2000s, she made a name for herself as an actress in the film "Goddess. How I fell in love", where she played an unusual and striking role. And then starring in a film about love "The Girl and Death" the famous Dutchman Jos Stelling.

In 2005, she signed the “Letter in Support of the Sentence to the Former Yukos Leaders,” although on February 9, 2011, the actress told a Radio Liberty correspondent that she did not sign this letter and that this was the first time she had heard of her signature on it. She also added that she felt sorry for Khodorkovsky and called him “a man with a capital M.”

Personal life of Svetlana Svetlichnaya:

She was married twice.

“Gena Shpalikov was deeply in love with me back in college, before my marriage, he actively courted me, admired my eyes and even wrote a script where the main role was intended for me. But then I was not ready for a serious relationship. But Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin was not that that he was a fan, he simply sympathized with me. Before traveling as part of the Soviet delegation to Chile (where I was the only woman!) I was invited to the Central Committee of the Komsomol of Ukraine “for instruction,” and Yuri Alekseevich was there too. After returning from Santiago, we were sent to one from rest homes, and Gagarin also went. We played basketball, volleyball, had a great time. Later he invited Volodya and me to his country house. All the time he said: “Volodya, how lucky you are that you have such a beautiful wife.” And I was very flattered,” said Svetlichnaya.

The marriage of Svetlichnaya and Ivashov was not easy, they constantly diverged and then converged. After another reunion, they even got married. Vladimir was faithful to his wife and always forgave her. But somehow Svetlana went on a wild spree again and, according to her son Alexei, they divorced. Alexey was surprised how such different people could live together for about 40 years.

Second husband - Sergei Sokolsky, artist. The marriage did not last long: exactly 27 days.

She lived with her young lover (he was also her stylist) Ruslan Tatyanin, who is more than 40 years younger than the actress.

In recent years, Svetlana Svetlichnaya has been living in the South-West of Moscow, in the Yasenevo district.

Svetlana Svetlichnaya is a Soviet and Russian film actress, who became famous throughout the Soviet Union for her episodic role in the comedy “The Diamond Arm.” The phrase “It’s not my fault... He came himself!”, uttered by the heroine Svetlichnaya, became an aphorism.

The actress still maintains her status as a star of the Soviet screen today, remaining as elegant and attractive as in her youth.

Childhood and youth

Svetlana Afanasyevna Svetlichnaya was born on May 15, 1940 in the city of Leninakan (today it is called Gyumri) in Armenia. Due to the fact that the father had a military profession, the family often changed their place of residence. The couple did not have any financial difficulties at that time, and my mother always found money for drama clubs and theater studios for the child.

For the first time, Sveta visited the drama club in kindergarten in her homeland. When she entered 1st grade, the family was already in the Sumy region, and there the girl did not give up her passion for theater. And the future celebrity graduated from school in the Baltics, where she also continued to attend the theater studio.

Svetlana’s mother had a great influence on her choice of profession. The girl felt insecure, but her mother sent her to Moscow to enroll in VGIK. Despite the competition and stress, Sveta passed all the exams and was enrolled in the course.

The actress’s first major role was in the film “They Conquer the Sky.” During this period of her creative biography, Svetlana Svetlichnaya performed a number of interesting roles. A striking example is Pavlina in Edmond Keosayan’s comedy “The Cook.” Ivan Savkin also shone in the film.

After this, the actress plays the role of Katya the Mermaid in the film ballad “Chistye Prudy,” and then played a TV presenter in the comedy “Thirty-Three” and a mother in the film “Not a Good Day.” All these roles contributed to the formation of the image of Svetlana as the most beautiful and sexiest Soviet actress of that time.

The most recognizable work in the filmography of the talented artist was “”. And although the actress appeared there in only a few episodes, this was enough for her to be remembered as the first girl to perform a “striptease” on the Soviet screen.

Svetlana herself later recalled how difficult this scene in a swimsuit was for her. But at that moment, she came to the rescue, who was her partner in the frame. Later, the artist’s repertoire was replenished with dramatic roles - she played a northerner in the film “Love...”, a flight attendant in the film “Not Under Judgment”. Svetlichnaya also embodied a bright episodic character in the popular adventure film “New Adventures of the Elusive”.

In the 70s, there was a lull in the artist’s career. During this period, she plays only 2 roles that are memorable to viewers. She played one in the television series “,” and the second in the film “The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed.” In addition to these works, there were several more in the 70s, but they either were not released (for example, the film “Hold on to the Clouds”), or left unpleasant impressions on the actress (the films “When the Earth Shakes” and “The Root of Life”).

During these years, Svetlichnaya, who was famous as the most spectacular actress of the USSR, repeatedly went on trips abroad.

The petite blonde (Svetlana’s height is 166 cm, weight – 55 kg) was part of the Soviet film delegations going to international film festivals. Her photos often appeared in the foreign press.

The 80s were marked in Svetlana Afanasyevna’s career as an even less popular period, and in the 90s her career stopped altogether. The collapse of the Film Actor's Studio Theater was a big blow, when 180 of the 230 artists were fired.

After difficult days associated with the death of her husband and lack of money, in the early 2000s the actress returned to the screens. Svetlana’s new work was the film “Goddess. How I fell in love,” the television series “Garages” and the film “Curator.”

Then she carefully chose the paintings, afraid to repeat the mistake she made: by agreeing to the role in “The Diamond Arm,” Svetlichnaya became a hostage to her character. After all, after that famous image, the artist’s path to such films as “War and Peace” or “Anna Karenina” was actually closed.

Personal life

Svetlana met her greatest love in her youth, as a student. As a freshman, she drew attention to, who was studying in an older course. After his role as Alyosha Skvortsov in “The Ballad of a Soldier,” Svetlichnaya seriously fell in love.

The key moment in their rapprochement was the episode with a kiss at the dress rehearsal of “Cossacks” based on the work. This was immediately followed by a declaration of love, and soon a wedding.

The young couple looked like real people. The couple's first-born was a boy, who was named Alyosha in honor of Ivashov's famous role. But later in the family life of Vladimir and Svetlana, disagreements began, mutual accusations of creative failures, jealousy and betrayal.

Particularly striking against this background was Svetlichnaya’s romance with, which began on the set of “The Diamond Arm.” After filming ended, Svetlana came to “surrender” to her husband, who forgave her and did not leave for his mistress. In the name of preserving the family, Svetlana gave birth to her second son Oleg.

The couple matured, and along with the creative crisis of both, peace and tranquility finally came to the family. In the 70s they enjoyed quiet family happiness, which, unfortunately, did not last long. Experiencing constant lack of money, Vladimir was forced to get a job in construction. Hard physical labor undermined the actor’s health, and he passed away at the age of 55.

After the death of their father, Svetlichnaya’s children, who had previously managed without their parents, showed sincere concern for their mother. Thanks to her sons, Svetlana Afanasyevna survived this difficult period.

A striking episode in the actress’s personal life was the appearance of the bard Sergei Sokolovsky, who charmed Svetlichnaya. But the affair, and then the short-term marriage, ended in tears, because Sergei was not interested in anything other than art, and the actress was for him only a means to an end.

In the 2000s, young men appeared more than once in the actress’s life. Svetlichnaya was credited with an affair with stylist Ruslan Tatyanin, who helped Svetlana transform her image and even started writing a literary work about the star.

Later, her protégé became young, at that time a finalist in the “Star Factory - 6” project. But the artist herself did not confirm these love affairs. According to her, she just likes the attention and care of handsome men.

In 2006, Svetlana Afanasyevna suffered a new loss. Her youngest son Oleg died under strange circumstances. According to the official version, the young man, who was living in the Ivanovo region at that time, died from the consequences of alcoholism. But the actress is sure that his enemies helped him pass away.

Now Svetlana Afanasyevna leads a busy life. Even at an advanced age, she does not forget that she is first and foremost a woman. The actress does gymnastics and takes good care of herself. Having gone through a difficult period in her relationship with her eldest son Alexei, the actress today happily communicates with her granddaughter Maria and great-grandson Vladimir.
