When working with a scythe, stand as shown in the figure:

· Wear safety glasses and thick clothing.

· Right hand squeeze the gas trigger and hold the handle with your left.

· Keep the braid below the waistline.

· Make sure that the lining shoulder strap was always in the middle of the left shoulder, and the danger warning sign was in the middle of the back.

· Carry and secure the entire weight of the unit on your left shoulder.

· Cut the grass cover only from left to right so that the cut material /grass, weeds/ flies away from you. Without bending down, make sure that the blade or mower head is close to the surface of the ground and parallel to the surface of the ground, and also does not get stuck in pieces of cut plants.

Mowing position

Cut the grass cover only from left to right.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE TRIMMER HEAD

ATTENTION: Always wear safety glasses. Never lean over a running trimmer. Rocks, debris and other foreign objects can get into your eyes, causing blindness or other serious injury. Before mowing, set the engine to optimal speed, sufficient to mow grass and weeds.

Do not operate at maximum speed unless necessary. Trimmer line cuts more efficiently when the engine is running less than maximum speed. At lower speeds there is less noise and vibration of the lawn mower. Always release the throttle and allow the mower to idle when you are not mowing.

HOW TO STOP A PETROL MOWER

· Release the throttle trigger.

Press and release the engine ON/STOP switch.

RELEASE OF TRIMMER LINE

The trimmer line will come out approximately 5cm each time from the trimmer head when pressed on the ground bottom heads and the engine running at maximum speed. The most effective line length is the maximum length obtained when cutting with a knife located on the protective screen. Always work with a protective screen installed on the brush cutter. To extend the line:

· Raise the engine to maximum speed

Place the head parallel and above grass cover.

· Press lightly bottom part trimmer head to the ground once. The trimmer line will extend approximately 5 cm with each press.

Always release the line above the grass cover. Pressing the head against surfaces such as concrete or asphalt can cause premature wear of the trimmer head. If the line comes out less than 5 cm, more than one press with the trimmer head will be required.

WARNING: Use only fishing line with a diameter of 2.4 mm. Using other line sizes may result in malfunction trimmer head, as well as serious injury. Do not use other materials such as wire, string, cord, etc. The cord may break off during mowing and cause serious injury.

Owners summer cottages And country houses familiar with the problem of maintaining a personal garden in aesthetically pleasing. A lot of effort is spent on mowing the grass and mowing the lawn. Electric and gasoline trimmers help automate such processes.

Let's take a closer look at one of these devices.

Gasoline scythe device

    2x stroke engine;

    fuel tank;

    air filter;

  • lever;

    protective casing;

    gearbox;

Weight of the entire device - about 8 kg, which are quite difficult to hold in your hands. Therefore, complete with the scythe itself there is an unloading belt-backpack with a protective pad and regulators.

The scythe is designed for mowing grass and small shrubs in personal plots.

As you know, grass can be cut different ways- folding it into windrows or simply mowing it. In addition, grass can be different - soft or coarse, with thick stems, bushy growth.

Choosing a suitable nozzle

In addition to their product, the manufacturer usually provides several cutters (usually 3).

    To work with soft grass, a fishing line wound on a drum is used as a cutting element. The speed of 9000 rpm allows you to quickly process even a large lawn.

    For coarser grass and thickets, you can use one of metal knives, which differ in the number of cutting teeth.

    A disc with 40 or 80 teeth is designed for mowing dense growth, reeds, and young bushes. Corn and dry weeds with thick stems can be mowed with three- and four-blade cutters.

    And in order to place the mown grass into windrows, a knife with 8 blades is used and a special comb is attached to the scythe itself.

And now more about how to install the cutter. The attachment point for the cutter is called the gearbox. First you need to secure the figured washer on it using a hex wrench.

Then put on the knife, aligning the holes in it with the protrusion of the washer. After this, you need to install the upper shaped washer on the shaft and tighten everything with a nut.

Here you should pay attention to the fact that the thread on the shaft is left-handed, so you need to tighten the nut (as well as screw on the mowing head) counterclockwise.

A wrench, which is also included in the package, will help you tighten the nut until it stops. You can replace the cutter by doing all the operations in reverse order.

Refueling the lawn mower

To refuel a chainsaw, it is not pure gasoline that is used, but a working mixture, which must be prepared in certain proportions.

The combustible mixture consists of gasoline with an octane number of 95 and high-quality oil intended for two-stroke air-cooled engines.

The proportions should be 25 parts gasoline to 1 part oil.

It is better to mix the components in a separate container, from which, using a funnel, then pour the mixture into the fuel tank.

After threading the braid, you need to wipe dry the entire surface in places with traces of spilled liquid.

Instructions from the manufacturer

Let's get started

Before starting work, you need to check all the fasteners and, if necessary, tighten them all the way. Put on the backpack belt and tighten the adjusting straps.

Then place the scythe on a hard, flat surface and make sure that the cutter does not come into contact with anything.

Then you need to set the throttle handle to the “OFF” position and the switch on the handle to the “I” position.

Before the first start, you can pump the working mixture into the starting system by pressing the soft hemisphere of the valve under the air filter several times.

While holding the scythe in a stationary position with your left hand, you need to sharply pull the starter cord with your right.

The engine may not start the first time, in which case you should try again.

After the engine starts running, you need to move the throttle handle to the “ON” position.

If you need to start the scythe immediately after stopping the engine, you should not close the throttle before starting.

To start the mowing process, you need to fasten the lawn mower using a carabiner to the unloading belt and, holding the trigger, start mowing using the scythe movement “from right to left” (when using the mowing head - “from left to right”).

There is a button on the handle of the scythe next to the switch, with which you can jam the trigger and operate the tool without extra effort.

The plane of the cutting tool must be parallel to the ground.

When working, you must follow safety rules and dress according to the requirements - glasses are used to protect your eyes, you must wear boots with non-slip soles, you must protect your hands with gloves, and you can use headphones to protect yourself from noise.

To stop the engine, simply move the switch on the handle to position “0”.

To make the trimmer last a long time

To prepare the braid for winter period it is necessary to remove the fuel from the tank, start the engine and let it burn out the rest of the mixture. After stopping, you need to unscrew the spark plug and pour 20 cubes of oil into the cylinder, pull the starter cord several times and screw the spark plug into place.

In order for the lawn mower to operate uninterruptedly throughout the entire period of its operation, it is necessary to follow all the rules for working with this device. Here are the main ones:

    Before starting work, carefully inspect the device for problems with fuel tank, fasteners or cutters;

    Make sure there is enough working mixture in the fuel tank;

    When starting, take all precautions;

    Check the condition of the device only with the engine turned off;

    For refueling, use only high-quality components in strictly recommended proportions;

    Carry out repairs only in certified centers;

    Do not mow on slippery ground in wet weather;

    The duration of scythe work during the day should not exceed 2 hours;

    Do not touch the spark plug or high-voltage cable during operation;

    Do not carry the braid while it is on;

    Maintain all parts promptly petrol trimmer - air filter, ventilation systems, gearbox, carburetor;
